Marshall received his training in search engine marketing as a Search Engine Optimization Specialist with USWeb/CKS
(#1 U.S. interactive agency 1999) where he learned his trade by working directly with clients including Compaq, Transamerica, and Applied Materials.

Since leaving to open his own consultancy in 2000, he has continued to perform high-level work and attract top clients through his technically proficient application of search engine marketing techniques.

Marshall received his B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis and has worked in the healthcare outcomes research field as a pharmaceutical market analyst.
